Our Saturday Night

This past Saturday night was very eventful. It was one of the few Saturday nights were my friends and I managed to find something to do besides sitting in our rooms. Our night started with dinner and a movie. We crammed into our cars and made our way to the Quarry to eat at the Fire Bowl which is a Japanese style restaurant. After we finished our meals, we went to go see the movie “The Book of Eli”. We all agreed that it was a great movie with good acting. But without spoiling the movie, we all believed the ending could have been better. We then made our way back to campus. Being nineteen years old, our night was just beginning. We came back to our rooms in the Miller dorms where things became a little violent. Earlier in the week, we had found Nerf swords at Walmart which are Styrofoam in the shape of a sword which you can swing at your friends. Again being nineteen year old collage students, we decided to have sword fights for fun. While it was very fun, some of us did get bruises. Having finished beating each other with fake swords, we decided to play a game of Poker. My friend Ryan won the game and it being very early in the morning on Sunday, we decided to call it a day and go to bed.
